A bad stomach may affect the color, smell, amount and abnormal composition of stools.
1. Color change: most of them are tar-colored stools, also known as black stools, which are seen in patients with gastric bleeding and may be related to gastric ulcer, erosive gastritis, gastric smooth muscle tumor, gastric cancer and other diseases.
2. Change of odor: patients with gastric bleeding mostly show foul odor, while patients with functional gastric disease mostly show sour odor.
3. Changes in quantity: most of them show diarrhea, usually increase in the number of bowel movements or the amount of feces, which is seen in gastroesophageal reflux disease, chronic gastritis, gastric cancer and other diseases.
4. Abnormal composition changes: the feces of patients with gastric hemorrhage may have occult blood component, hemoglobin crystal component, and so on.
If the situation of abnormal feces is more serious or persists without improvement, it is recommended to go to regular hospitals in time, after clarifying the cause of the disease, and then carry out targeted treatment or therapy under the guidance of the doctor.
