In clinical practice, bleeding during sex is often caused by the following reasons: First, rough movements during sex can cause local bleeding due to abrasion of the skin and mucous membrane. Secondly, inflammation of the vagina, because of the brittle tissue, can cause bleeding due to skin breakage after sexual friction. Third, vaginal polyps and cervical polyps can cause bleeding after contact. Fourth, due to lesions of the cervix itself, such as chronic cervical inflammation, cervical epithelial lesions or early stage of cervical cancer, bleeding from intercourse can occur. Therefore, for intercourse bleeding, you must do a detailed gynecological examination and, if necessary, a routine white belt test or a cervical cancer screening, and then give treatment according to the results.
