Dysarthria is usually caused by paralysis of the muscles of the articulatory organs, ataxia, or increased muscle tone. It is characterized by difficulty in articulation, abnormal articulation, and unclear articulation, but the language is correct. Rehabilitation training usually includes local muscle training, lip and tongue movement training and articulation training.
1. Local muscle training: patients can increase the flexibility of their lips and facial muscles by blowing up balloons and pieces of paper, as well as using straws to suck water.
2. Lip and tongue movement training: mirror training, including repeated opening and closing of the lips, lifting the tongue, tilting the tongue to the left, tilting the tongue to the right, tongue retraction, etc., can lay a good foundation for the patient to pronounce correctly.
3. Pronunciation training: Practice the correct pronunciation of words and tones, and gradually transition to long sentences. Exercises can also be strengthened by reciting poems, etc. to promote further recovery.
Rehabilitation is a gradual process. Patients are advised to maintain a good attitude and actively cooperate with the treatment. Usually, speech ability will be improved to a certain extent through regular and systematic exercises.
