Abdominal multiple lymph node enlargement can be diagnosed by imaging, laboratory tests, and pathology. Often, only pathologic tests can confirm the diagnosis. Common causes of abdominal multiple lymph node enlargement include inflammatory irritation, tuberculosis infection, metastasis of malignancy, and hematologic disorders. Clinically, the following examinations are generally used to assist in the diagnosis. 1. Imaging examination: abdominal lymph nodes can be found through ultrasound, CT, enhanced CT, MRI and other examinations. These tests can not only check the condition of lymph nodes, but also other organs. 2. Laboratory tests: blood test, C-reactive protein, tuberculin test, relevant tumor markers, bone marrow aspiration and other tests are often used to achieve the diagnosis. 3. Pathological examination: clinically, for multiple enlarged lymph nodes in the abdominal cavity, the above examination is an auxiliary examination, and the diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound-guided puncture biopsy or pathological examination of excised samples during surgery. Laboratory and imaging tests for the diagnosis of multiple enlarged lymph nodes in the abdominal cavity belong to the auxiliary diagnosis, but often can get a more accurate diagnosis to guide the treatment.
