What is Attention Deficit Disorder?

Attention disorders can be divided into types that are not accompanied by hyperactive impulses and types that are accompanied by hyperactive impulses. I. The following symptoms of inattention may be considered as attention disorders without accompanying hyperactive impulses if they have been present for more than six months, have at least six of them, and are severe enough to be incompatible with the environment and inconsistent with the age developmental level: 1. Often fails to pay close attention to details or frequently makes careless mistakes in completing school assignments or other activities; 2. Has difficulty concentrating during games and completing tasks; 3. Often does not listen or ignore what others say to him; 4. Has difficulty following other people’s instructions or completing school assignments, duty, and other locked tasks (not due to inability to understand instructions and rebelliousness); 5. Often has difficulty organizing tasks and activities; 6. Often has difficulty engaging in schoolwork and homework that requires mental effort; 7. Often loses items related to learning tasks at home or at school and play-related items (e.g., toys, pencils, books, and workbooks); 8. Easily distracted by task-irrelevant stimuli at hand; 9. Often loses things in daily activities. The following hyperactivity-impulsivity symptoms can be considered as hyperactivity-impulsivity disorder if they occur for more than six months, have at least four of them, and are severe enough to be incompatible with the environment and inconsistent with the age developmental level: 1. frequently moving hands and feet in the seat; 2. frequently leaving the seat in situations or classes where they are asked to sit properly; 3. running and climbing inappropriately (after adolescence, they may only be manifested as 4. often have difficulty participating quietly or engaging in play activities; 5. begin to answer questions before they are finished; 6. have difficulty waiting in order during group activities or games.
