The difference between X-ray and CT lies in the different imaging modes, different radiation levels, different scope of application, different examination costs and different examination positions.
1. Different imaging modes: X-ray is a flat display, while CT is a three-dimensional imaging.
2. Different amount of radiation: X-ray radiation is obviously less than that of CT, generally below 1msv, while most of the radiation of CT examination is above 2msv.
3. Different scope of application: X-ray is mainly used for chest, abdominal physical examination, limb fracture examination, for the organs as a whole show clearer, such as fractures, lung infections, etc.; CT examination can be used for all parts of the body, the lesion organ localization is more clear, such as the skull and brain, the liver, chest and abdominal viscera.
4. Different examination positions: X-ray examination is to take the orthopedic position, orthopedic position, oblique position; CT examination to take the prone position, lung examination with breath-holding.
