Coming back after menopause at age 48 is considered abnormal. Coming back to menstruation after menopause at the age of 48 belongs to abnormal bleeding, which is considered to be related to a variety of reasons. If you are taking hormonal drugs for a short period of time, it may cause withdrawal bleeding; the presence of vaginitis, endometrial polyps, uterine fibroids, submucosal fibroids, precancerous lesions of the cervix, precancerous lesions of the endometrium, and so on, may lead to bleeding again after menopause. Therefore, when menstruation comes again after menopause, you need to pay high attention to it and go to the hospital as soon as possible for gynecological examination to see if there is inflammation in the vagina; cervical cancer screening to find out if there is any malignant lesion of the cervix; and ultrasound to find out if there is any thickening of the endometrium, or if there is any abnormal echogenicity in the uterine cavity.
