What is the pain in the right side of the chest?

There are many causes of right-sided chest pain, commonly skin, bone and muscle diseases, pleurisy, pneumothorax, pneumonia, hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal diseases, etc. Skeletal and muscular diseases are caused by trauma and inflammation resulting in pathological changes of neuromuscles, mostly seen in rib fractures or deformed healing of fractures, rib chondritis, etc. Pleurisy mostly manifests as chest pain, cough and chest tightness.
