What’s a sleeping point?

Anmian point is a new modern clinical point, which belongs to the extra meridian qi points. The point is located on the neck, on the midpoint of the line connecting the cataract and wind pool points. This point is surrounded by the sternocleidomastoid muscle and the head-clamping muscle. When taking blood, push backward from the cataract point behind the ear to the sternocleidomastoid muscle to stop it, and in the depression under the mastoid process, press the point with a feeling of soreness and distension, i.e. this point. This point can mainly treat insomnia, vertigo, headache, irritability, hysteria, palpitation, epilepsy, hypertension, tinnitus and other diseases. Modern clinical use is often used in conjunction with other points. This point is usually operated by direct needling, or moxibustion with moxa sticks and acupoint injections. Acupuncture and moxibustion need to be operated by a professional Chinese medicine practitioner, do not operate on your own to avoid unnecessary consequences.
