What are the causes of ear leakage?

The so-called ear leakage is just a clinical description of a symptom in the ear, nose and throat, which refers to all cases of discharge from the external ear canal. It is mostly seen clinically in the following cases: i. cerumen embolism in the external ear canal, caused by moist dilution after water ingress; ii. acute otitis externa, which is further divided into diffuse and limited, commonly caused by boils in the external ear canal; iii. chronic otitis externa, such as the more common fungal otitis externa; iv. eczema of the external ear canal, caused by local skin allergic reaction; v. acute and chronic purulent otitis media, mostly purulent secretions; vi, Ear-pulling injury; vii. Cerebrospinal fluid ear leakage, mostly due to cranial trauma, such as skull base and temporal bone fractures, etc.
