Neck infarction, many diseases can cause this symptom, the most common being drop pillow and cervical spondylosis. Neck stiffness, either from neck pain or from limited range of motion in the neck. The most common diseases in general are drop pillow and cervical spondylosis. The drop pillow is generally due to the neck maintaining a posture for a long time, mostly in a restricted neck position while sleeping, resulting in stiffness and discomfort in the neck in the morning, or pain, mainly due to muscle spasm. The pain can be relieved by self-exercising, moving the neck and applying local heat. If severe, further physical therapy is required, and most of them can be relieved in about 1 week. If severe neck pain and discomfort, infarction, no history of sleeping pillow, then the possibility of cervical spondylosis needs to be considered. You need to go to the hospital to take cervical spine frontal and lateral X-ray, or even cervical spine nuclear magnetic examination in serious cases. The symptoms of neck infarction alone cannot diagnose the disease. The diagnosis needs to be further confirmed based on the cause, or imaging. Then a clear treatment plan can be formulated based on the diagnosis.
