Do wisdom teeth that are growing sideways need to be extracted?

Wisdom teeth that grow horizontally need to be extracted because they are the last teeth to erupt, and since people are chewing finer and finer foods nowadays, the jawbone is small and cannot accommodate all the teeth, so the last erupted tooth, i.e., the wisdom tooth, will erupt ectopically. A very common case of ectopic eruption is transverse eruption, and wisdom teeth that erupt transversely are always recommended to be extracted as soon as possible. Because this type of wisdom tooth has a continuous tendency to grow toward the crown, if it is not removed, it will cause decay of the second molar in front, crowding of the overall dental row, and even cause a series of risks such as pericoronitis, interstitial infection, bacteremia and sepsis of the wisdom tooth, so the wisdom tooth growing horizontally must be extracted as early as possible.
