Akirense Injection is genetically modified chimeric antigen receptor autologous T (CAR-T) cells targeting human CD19 for the treatment of large B-cell lymphomas, especially relapsed or refractory after prior second-line or more systemic therapy. This includes primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma (PMBCL), among others.
The most common adverse reactions include hypotension, encephalopathy, tachycardia, fatigue, headache, decreased appetite, chills, and diarrhea.
Also the drug should be used with caution in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
