Symptoms of Stroke

Stroke, also known as stroke, is subdivided into ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke. Their pathogenesis and symptoms are different. The symptoms of ischemic stroke mainly include dizziness, numbness and weakness of limbs, crooked mouth, blurred vision, nausea and vomiting. Hemorrhagic stroke, on the other hand, has a more rapid onset and more significant symptoms, with common manifestations such as headache, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, impaired consciousness, and limb paralysis. Hemorrhagic stroke is mostly caused by high blood pressure or emotional excitement that leads to the occurrence of blood vessel rupture, resulting in bleeding. Ischemic stroke is a lack of blood supply due to narrowing or occlusion of cerebral blood vessels. Generally speaking, the incidence of ischemic stroke is higher. Once the symptoms of stroke appear, it is necessary to go to neurology, neurosurgery, emergency department in time, and standardized diagnosis and treatment under the guidance of professional physicians to avoid delaying the treatment.
