Clinically, depending on the cause of the patient’s cervical lymph nodes, the patient may consult different departments. I. If the patient’s lymph nodes on the neck are enlarged due to oral ulcers with infection, the patient can consult the stomatology department. Anti-infection treatment can be enhanced by oral administration of watermelon cream tablets and metronidazole tablets. After controlling the infection in the oral cavity, the supra-cervical lymph nodes can gradually absorb and subside with better results. Secondly, if patients have swollen supra-cervical lymph nodes due to metastasis of cervical lymph nodes caused by malignant tumor of thyroid gland, patients need to consult thyroid surgery. Radical treatment of thyroid cancer plus lymph node dissection in the neck can be performed as soon as possible, followed by iodine 131 radiotherapy. 3. If the patient has acute suppurative otitis media causing swollen supra-cervical lymph nodes, he/she needs to consult with the Department of Pentacameral Surgery. The infection in the ear can be controlled by active anti-infection treatment to promote faster absorption and remission of the supra-cervical lymph nodes.
