Rehabilitation training for knee ligament injury is mainly based on physical therapy, muscle strength training and joint mobility training. 1. Physiotherapy: in the acute stage of ligament injury, localized braking should be applied, and the main focus is on lying down and resting. If the joint is swollen and painful, ice packs should be used within 24 hours to reduce pain. When the pain is obviously relieved, infrared radiation therapy, massage and other physiotherapy can be carried out. 2. Muscle strength training: after the acute stage, you can carry out isometric contraction training of the lower limb muscles under the guidance of the doctor, such as straight leg raising, to prevent muscle atrophy and enhance the muscle strength of the lower limb. After the joints are painless, you can use elastic bands for resistance flexion and extension training, gradually increase the resistance to reach the body’s tolerance level. 3. Joint mobility training: ligament injury should be under the guidance of the rehabilitation division of the knee joint flexion and extension training, early passive movement, in order not to cause significant pain as a principle, and then gradually transition to complete the active training on their own. Knee ligament injury must be regular rehabilitation training to promote recovery.
