Low lactate dehydrogenase is rare in clinic and does not have very clear clinical significance, it may be caused by physiological lowering or endocrine disorders.
1. Physiological factors: fatigue, lack of sleep, dietary factors and malnutrition may affect the body’s metabolism, drink more milk and eat more vitamin-rich foods.
2. Endocrine disorders: hypothyroidism, hypoadrenocorticism, etc. can lead to the body’s metabolism is too slow, resulting in low lactate dehydrogenase.
Lactate dehydrogenase is a kind of glycolytic enzyme, which is widely present in human tissues, and is most abundant in cardiac muscle, skeletal muscle and kidneys, followed by liver, spleen, pancreas, lungs and tumor tissues, and very abundant in red blood cells.
If lactate dehydrogenase is low, further examination should be done in conjunction with symptoms, if there are no symptoms, regular review is recommended.
