Colla Corii Asini is a donkey skin soaked and dehairing, cut into pieces and washed, decocted in water in several times, filtered, combined filtrate, concentrated (can be added to the appropriate amount of yellow wine, rock sugar and soybean oil) to a thick paste, condensation, cut into pieces, dry, that is, to be obtained.
Colla Corii Asini has the effect of tonifying blood and nourishing yin, moistening dryness and stopping bleeding. It is used in treating blood deficiency, dizziness and palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), muscle impotence, restlessness and insomnia, internal movement of deficiency wind, cough with dryness of the lungs, coughing and hemoptysis due to exertion, vomiting and urination of blood, blood in the stool and leakage of urine and faeces (excessive menstrual flow or more than a few drops), and leakage of the fetus in pregnancy (small amount of bleeding from vagina in the early stage of pregnancy).
