For BSE, an inactivated vaccine, adverse reactions are slightly higher than for other vaccines. Most patients can develop fever, about 10%, but it is usually moderate or less, not more than 39°C, and lasts for about two days. Some patients can also develop allergy, which is manifested by rash and itching of the skin. Some patients may have symptoms such as gastrointestinal infection, such as abdominal pain, bloating, vomiting, diarrhea, and finally some patients may have flu-like symptoms, such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, etc. For the BSE vaccine, there are also rare adverse reactions, including a decrease in white blood cells and swelling of lymph nodes.
