Idiopathic tremor is most commonly seen in middle-aged and older people over 40 years of age. Patients may experience head shaking and hand shaking, and in severe cases, tongue and mouth lip shaking. For idiopathic tremor, there is no particularly effective drug treatment. If the patient’s symptoms are severe and seriously affect the quality of life, oral propranolol or clonazepam can be considered to relieve the symptoms of shaking. Uncontrollable head shaking can also be seen in patients in the middle and late stages of Parkinson’s disease. Tremors in Parkinson’s patients are mostly hand and limb tremors, which can be accompanied by increased muscle tone. As the disease progresses and becomes more advanced, Parkinson’s disease in the middle and late stages can also present with head shaking and tremors throughout the body. It is recommended to adjust the dose of medications such as Medroba or Morpholog, and if necessary, consider consulting a neurosurgeon to improve Parkinson’s symptoms with surgery and other related treatments.
