Throat breathlessness, which is dyspnea caused by poor ventilation, may be caused by reflux pharyngitis, acute laryngeal edema, acute epiglottitis and other causes.
1. Reflux pharyngitis: when the patient has the phenomenon of pharyngeal reflux, it may cause some stimulation to the respiratory mucosa, and the local mucous membrane is abnormally constricted, so the symptom of breathlessness in the throat may occur.
2. Acute laryngeal edema: inflammation, drug allergy, angioneurotic edema can lead to laryngeal edema, causing dyspnea, usually accompanied by hoarseness.
3. Acute epiglottitis: when severe edema occurs in the epiglottis area of the body, the local airway position will be abnormally obstructed, thus causing the phenomenon of breathlessness in the throat.
Because of the many causes of breathlessness, it is recommended that patients go to the hospital in time for examination and diagnosis, and early formal treatment.
