What’s wrong with baby drool?

Infant drooling can be caused by oral diseases, open-mouth breathing, respiratory tract infections and other reasons.
1. Oral disease: Often babies’ saliva pulling into silk may be related to oral disease, such as dry syndrome, oral glands are damaged, resulting in oral salivary secretion weakened and caused by the phenomenon of pulling silk.
2. Open-mouth breathing: if the baby sleeps with his mouth open and breathes, when the baby wakes up in the morning, there will be dry mouth and saliva pulling phenomenon.
3. Respiratory tract infection: the general development of the infant’s nervous system is not yet perfect, and the ability to cough is weak. When infants suffer from respiratory tract infections, they cannot cough up phlegm through coughing, and may show that their saliva is sticky and stretched, which is actually phlegm.
There may be many other reasons for babies’ saliva to become silky, so parents are advised to bring their babies to the doctor in time to find out the cause and avoid delaying the condition.
