There is one well point for each of the twelve meridians in the body, and there are twelve points: Shaoshang, Shangyang, Zhongchong, Guanchong, Shaochong, Shaoze, Yinbai, Lidui, Datun, Foot Tips Yin, Yongquan, and Zhiyin. Different acupoints have different locations.
1. Shaoshang: Located on the finger, radial side of the thumb, 0.1 inches above the corner of the nail root (finger inches).
2. Shang Yang: Located on the finger, the index finger, radial side of the last section, the nail root angle side 0.1 inch (finger inch) above.
3. Zhongchong: located on the finger, the highest point of the end of the middle finger.
4. Guanchong: located on the finger, the ulnar side of the terminal joint of the 4th finger, 0.1 inch (finger inches) above the angular side of the nail root.
5. Shaochong: located on the finger, radial side of the last joint of the little finger, 0.1 inch above the angular side of the root of the nail.
6. Shao Ze: located on the finger, the ulnar side of the last joint of the little finger, 0.1 inch above the side of the angle of the root of the nail.
7. Yinbai: located on the toes, medial side of the last joint of the big toe, 0.1 inch behind the side of the root angle of the toenail.
8. Li Tui: located on the toes, lateral to the terminal section of the 2nd toe, 0.1 inch behind the side of the root angle of the toenail (finger inch).
9. Dadun: located on the toes, lateral to the last section of the big toe, 0.1 inch (finger inch) behind the root angle of the toenail.
10. Foot Tips Yin: located on the lateral side of the fourth toe, about 0.1 inch beside the angle of the toenail.
11. Yongquan: at the sole of the foot, the most concave point in the center of the foot when the foot is flexed and the toes are curled.
12. Zhi Yin: located on the lateral side of the little toe, about 0.1 inch beside the angle of the toenail.
