Can you take Half-Summer Laxative Soup after drinking?

It is not recommended to take Half-summer Laxative Heart Soup after drinking to avoid causing adverse reactions.
Half-summer Laxative Heart Soup is composed of half-summer, scutellaria baicalensis, dry ginger, ginseng, licorice, coptis, jujube, etc. It is able to calm and harmonize cold and heat, and eliminate lumps and dissipate knots (eliminating lumps in the body). It is used in cases of plumpness where cold and heat are intermingled. Symptoms include plumpness under the heart (mainly referring to distension and discomfort in the stomach), but fullness without pain, or vomiting, bowel sounds and discharges.
In this formula, Semixia can disperse the lumps and remove the lumps, and is also good at lowering the rebelliousness and stopping vomiting (stopping the upward rush of stomach qi and stopping vomiting); Dry ginger can warm the middle Jiao and disperse the cold (dispelling the cold by warming the spleen and stomach); Scutellaria baicalensis and Huang Lian Lian can excrete the heat and open the lumps; Radix Panax ginseng and Fructus Jujubae are sweet and warm, benefiting the qi (utilizing sweet and warm medicines to replenish the qi); and Glycyrrhiza glabra can replenish the spleen and harmonize the middle Jiao and adjust the medicines.
Patients are advised to follow the doctor’s instructions.
