Is there a self-cure for dry syndrome?

The self-healing rate of dry syndrome is very low, and there is no clear report. Its pathogenesis and etiology are still unclear, and may be caused by endocrine factors, genetic factors, infection factors and other factors, and it is very difficult to heal by itself. At present, there is no cure for dry syndrome, and the main treatment is symptomatic and alternative-based, aiming to prevent local mucosal damage caused by dryness. 1.Systematic treatment can be carried out with immunosuppressants, glucocorticoids, etc. for manifestations appearing outside salivary glands and other glands, such as interstitial lung changes, arthritis, etc. 2.Biological agents anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody agents can inhibit B-cell production. 3.Symptomatic drugs pay attention to lifestyle habits, avoid taking drugs that cause dry mouth, stop smoking, drinking and other bad habits, clean mouth, minimize dental caries and oral local infections, use artificial substitutes, such as artificial saliva, artificial tear glands, etc. 4.Other symptomatic treatments such as low potassium should be corrected immediately and taken for life if necessary. Those with muscle or joint pain can use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which are more effective. Dry syndrome does not have a low chance of self-healing, the prognosis is often good for those with mild and limited lesions, and some of these patients may have appeared self-healing. If the internal organs are involved, the disease can be controlled after active treatment. When treatment is delayed, the disease may deteriorate and even life is threatened.
