How to check your intestines if you don’t want a colonoscopy

In the clinic, we do not want to perform colonoscopy, but we can also examine the intestinal tract by imaging, laboratory examination or palpation. Imaging examination: mainly X-ray examination, as the gastrointestinal tract is a cavity organ, it can be examined by barium contrast, which can clearly show the intestinal lesions and observe whether there is any positional and morphological change of the intestinal tract. 2. Laboratory examination: routine blood test can get the indicators of different cells in the blood, such as white blood cells, neutrophils, red blood cell count and hemoglobin, etc., through which the general condition can be judged; stool test can also indirectly understand whether the patient has intestinal diseases. 3. Palpation: Abdominal palpation is the key to determine some gastrointestinal tract occupying lesions, such as appendicitis, intestinal obstruction and other diseases. Consult your physician for specific tests.
