It is potentially useful for pancreatic cancer patients to take Tegio, an oral combination chemotherapy drug containing Tegafur, which can be used in the chemotherapy of advanced pancreatic cancer. Some studies have shown that Tegio monotherapy for advanced pancreatic cancer is not worse than gemcitabine monotherapy in terms of overall survival, so patients with advanced pancreatic cancer can consider taking oral Tegio for chemotherapy. When the patient is in good health, he or she may also consider taking Tegio in combination with gemcitabine for chemotherapy. However, not all pancreatic cancer patients’ survival will be prolonged after using Tegio chemotherapy, and a large number of patients’ tumors will not shrink after using Tegio chemotherapy, and even tumor progression will occur.
