The drug reaches peak blood concentration 6~12 hours after oral administration, with a bioavailability of 64%~80% and a terminal elimination half-life of about 35~50 hours. If the drug is administered once a day, the blood concentration reaches steady state after 7~8 days. Therefore, this drug has a slow onset of action but acts on the body for a long time and has a good antihypertensive effect, and it is impossible to achieve the effect of rapid reduction of blood pressure in a short period of time by dosage.
