Is there hope for a cure for early stage liver cancer

After active treatment, early stage liver cancer can achieve a five-year survival rate of about 50%~70%, which can lead to a certain clinical cure. Hepatocellular carcinoma is a malignant tumor caused by hepatitis virus, heredity, gene mutation and other factors. Early stage of the disease, the lesions are often limited, and radical surgical resection is often feasible after diagnosis; for liver cancer with lesions <3cm, ablation can also be used for treatment. In addition, while fighting against cancer, liver cancer patients also need to treat underlying liver diseases, such as hepatitis B, alcoholic liver disease, fatty liver, etc. After active treatment, early-stage liver cancer can be treated by ablation. After active treatment, the overall prognosis for early-stage liver cancer patients is good, with a five-year survival rate of about 50 to 70 percent.
