Baby scissor legs are mainly manifested in holding the armpit so that the body is in a hanging state, the two lower limbs are stiffly stretched out in a cross-like, like scissors. It is caused by increased muscle tone in both lower limbs, and is mostly caused by brain injury with damage to the extrapyramidal system. Most often there are high risk factors before, during or after birth, such as prematurity, low birth weight, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, hypoglycemia, multiple births, and in vitro fertilization. If there are any of the above manifestations and medical history, take your baby to the pediatric rehabilitation department as early as possible for necessary early intervention and rehabilitation. The younger the age of rehabilitation, the better the outcome.
