What to do about coughing while breastfeeding

During the breastfeeding period, you should try to avoid using medicines to prevent or treat the disease. In case of a mild cough, you can drink plenty of water, or boil some ice-sugar pear water, radish root water, steamed oranges and other dietary treatments. Drinking some light salt water is useful in relieving coughs caused by bronchitis, pharyngitis and respiratory infections. If the cough is very serious, you can take some appropriate anti-inflammatory drugs, such as penicillin anti-inflammatory drugs, generally have little effect on the baby. Be sure to go to the regular hospital to follow the doctor’s instructions strict medication, do not blindly use drugs.
