Does parapsoriasis heal on its own?

Whether or not psoriasis will heal on its own depends on the type of psoriasis, in which punctate psoriasis and acute acneiform mossy furuncle may heal on their own. Large plaque psoriasis is not only difficult to self-cure, but may even undergo malignant transformation. Pitting-type parapsoriasis often appears pimples, erythema, the development of the disease is relatively slow, usually the skin lesions can subside on their own, there is a possibility of self-healing. Acute pox-like mossy furuncle may appear papules, papules, necrosis, crusting, atrophy and other manifestations. Pitting parapsoriasis is generally self-limiting and may subside after a few months to a year. Acute acneiform mossy psoriasis may gradually subside, but the time to subside is longer, up to several years. Patients with maculopapular parapsoriasis require treatment to control pruritus and suppress lesions. Close clinical monitoring is also required as these patients are at high risk of developing mycosis fungoides. The prognosis varies between the different subtypes of psoriasis, so it is important to visit a hospital to make a definitive diagnosis, and then treat accordingly under medical supervision.
