The difference between a birthmark and a coffee spot

Birthmarks are categorized into pigmented birthmarks and vascular birthmarks according to their nature, which belongs to a general term. And coffee spot belongs to one type of pigmented birthmark. Birthmarks are mainly caused by a large amount of pigmentation, and may also be caused by vascular aggregation or vascular malformation, and are classified into pigmented birthmarks such as cafe au lait and Mongolian spots, and vascular birthmarks such as capillary hemangiomas and nevus erythematosus. Coffee spot is one of the pigmented birthmarks, and its causes are mostly related to sun exposure and hereditary factors. Because of more types of birthmarks, there are more colors, such as green, white, brown, purple, red, black and so on. The color of coffee spot is more single, mostly presenting as light brown, tan, dark brown and so on. Coffee spot belongs to a type of birthmark, and patients are advised to go to the hospital and consult the doctor.
