Why do you have a cyst as soon as you get pregnant?

A cyst once pregnant refers to a woman’s ovarian cyst, which is a physiologic pregnancy cyst that occurs as a result of continuous stimulation of the ovaries by estrogen and progesterone after pregnancy.

When a woman is pregnant, the higher levels of estrogen and progesterone in her body stimulate the ovaries to make certain physiologic changes. The ovaries do not ovulate during pregnancy, and this will show up as cyst-like changes. This phenomenon will not have too much effect on the body, and when the woman resumes normal ovulation after the birth, the cysts in the ovaries will disappear naturally.

However, when cysts appear during pregnancy, women need to go to the hospital and consult a doctor to determine the size of the ovarian cysts. If the cyst is large, she should be careful not to exercise too much to prevent the cyst from twisting and causing ovarian necrosis.
