Can Carp and Yam be eaten together?

Under the premise of no allergy to crucian carp and yam, crucian carp and yam can be consumed together, and there is no obvious contraindication to both.
Crucian carp is the meat of crucian carp, a genus of carp in the family of carp. It is sweet in flavor and flat in nature; it belongs to the spleen, stomach and large intestine meridian. It has the efficacy of strengthening the spleen and stomach, inducing diuresis and eliminating swelling, and promoting blood circulation. It is mainly used for treating weakness of spleen and stomach, less appetite, postpartum lactation, dysentery, blood in stool, edema, carbuncle, scrofula (mainly refers to cervical lymph node tuberculosis), and so on.
Yam is sweet in flavor and flat in nature. It belongs to the spleen, lung and kidney meridians. It can replenish the spleen and nourish the stomach, generate fluid and benefit the lungs, tonify the kidney and astringe the essence. It is used for spleen deficiency with little food, prolonged diarrhea, lung deficiency with asthma and cough, kidney deficiency with spermatorrhea, dyspareunia, frequent urination, deficiency heat and thirst.
