The vas deferens cannot be felt on the testicles. The testicles are not directly connected to the vas deferens, but rather through the epididymis, which can be palpated in the scrotal area in adults, but is usually not easily distinguishable by non-medical professionals. The vas deferens belongs to the male reproductive organs and is located in the spermatic cord, which is a direct continuation of the epididymal ducts. The vas deferens is long and begins at the end of the epididymis and ascends along the posterior edge of the testicle and into the spermatic cord, which is located in the posterior medial aspect of the scrotum. The main function of the vas deferens is to transport sperm from the epididymis to the urethra. The vas deferens can be felt on the surface of the body just at the root of the scrotum. When touching the root of the scrotum, a very hard fibrous tube with a diameter of about 2mm can be felt, which is the vas deferens. However, it is difficult for an ordinary person to distinguish where the vas deferens is. If the patient has scrotal discomfort, need to go to the male department of the regular hospital in a timely manner, do not self-testing, so as not to delay the condition.
