What causes thyroid cancer?

The causes of thyroid cancer are not clearly established clinically. It is usually related to heredity, environmental factors and iodine intake. 1. Heredity: Clinical medical research shows that the development of some thyroid cancer patients is related to the dominant inheritance of the autosomes in the patients, therefore, it is believed that the occurrence of thyroid cancer is related to hereditary factors in the clinic. 2. Environmental factors: patients who are exposed to ionizing radiation during childhood or early childhood will have a higher chance of developing thyroid cancer in adulthood. 3. Iodine intake: the incidence of thyroid cancer in clinical practice is thought to be related to high iodine intake. The onset of thyroid cancer may also be related to growth factors, and patients should consult a doctor for examination and active treatment when relevant symptoms appear, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
