Exhaust pipe burns are hot metal contact burns, which can cause relatively severe burns if the contact time is longer than 1 second due to the high temperature. Deep burns are often not felt as serious by the patient because of the lack of obvious pain, and treatment is often delayed until 2-3 weeks after infection occurs. Therefore, it is essential to determine the severity of the injury early: the severity can be roughly judged according to the injury. If it is just a brush and immediately dodged, the degree is generally mild; if a motorcycle falls and crushes, or if a person loses balance and falls backwards into the motorcycle, the injury will be more serious. Judging injuries based on the condition of the trauma can often be misleading. Heavy injuries do not have blisters, pain is not obvious, and the trauma is white in color. For more severe exhaust burns, surgery is the preferred treatment option. Although many people do not want to be treated by taking implants as a method, this method is the fastest and least scarring route. If surgical treatment is missed in the early post-injury period, by mid to late stage, it is likely that patients will prefer to heal the wound by changing the medication, which can be done in my other article, “How to change your own medication at home for late stage wounds”.
