What tests are needed to check the gall

Examination of gallbladder requires routine blood tests, calcitoninogen, C-reactive protein and other inflammatory indicators, bilirubin, serum biliary enzymes and other biochemical tests, ultrasound and other imaging tests. 1. Blood routine and inflammatory indexes: if you suffer from cholecystitis, cholangitis and other biliary tract infections, it can be manifested as elevated neutrophils, C-reactive protein and other inflammatory manifestations. 2. Biochemical examination: If there is bile duct obstruction caused by gallstones, jaundice and other manifestations will appear, and there will be elevated bilirubin, as well as elevated serum biliary enzymes, such as alkaline phosphatase, γ-glutamyltransferase, and sometimes also accompanied by elevated alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase. 3. Imaging examination: the most commonly used is ultrasonography, which is mostly used for screening of gallbladder diseases, and can initially check for gallbladder stones, polyps, gallbladder cancer and other diseases, while CT and magnetic resonance are advantageous for the further evaluation of bile duct stones and biliary tract tumors. There are also invasive imaging tests such as percutaneous liver puncture cholangiography and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. It is recommended that those with suspected gallbladder disease seek prompt medical attention and follow the doctor’s instructions for examination and treatment after identifying the cause of the disease.
