Which displacement occurs when the femur is slightly internally rotated

Posterior dislocation of the hip may occur when the femur is slightly internally rotated, and should be treated as early as possible by seeking medical attention, improving relevant examinations, identifying the cause, and treating the disease at an early stage. Posterior dislocation of the hip joint is common in traffic accidents. When a person sitting in a bus is in a position of knee flexion, hip flexion and mild internal rotation of the femur, the head of the femur will be dislocated from the weak area at the lower back part of the hip joint capsule when the knee suffers an impact. Typical symptoms of posterior hip dislocation are: shortening of the affected limb, flexion, adduction and internal rotation deformity of the hip joint. A preliminary diagnosis can be made based on the typical signs, and X-rays should be taken to clarify whether there is a fracture or not, and CT examination can be carried out if necessary to find out whether there is any displacement of the fracture. The fracture can be repositioned by lifting and pulling method.
