The following acupuncture points can be used for children’s cough: 1) Tiantu, the Tiantu point is located at the front of the neck, at the center of the clavicular fossa; 2) Tanzhong, the Tanzhong point is located at the midpoint of the line between the two nipples; 3) Body pillar, the Body pillar point is located at the depression under the spinous process of the 3rd thoracic vertebra; 4) Lung Yu, the Lung Yu point is located at 1.5 inches below the spinous process of the 3rd thoracic vertebra; 5) Fengmen, the Fengmen point is located at 1.5 inches below the spinous process of the 2nd thoracic vertebra; 6) Anointing. The anointing point is located three inches below the spinous process of the 4th thoracic vertebra; 7, the large vertebra point is located on the back, in the depression under the spinous process at the highest point of the junction of the thorax and the neck. Each point is moxibustion for 10-15 minutes, once a day, paying attention to the temperature to prevent burns.
