Tobramycin eye drops are primarily an anti-inflammatory eye drop. It is generally used for bacterial infections of the eye, such as bacterial conjunctivitis or bacterial keratitis, and for infections of the eyelid skin or eyelid glands, such as mydriasis; or for prophylactic anti-infective treatment. The main ingredient of Tobramycin is tobramycin, and commonly used is also levofloxacin, which is an anti-inflammatory ingredient of the quinolone class. The difference between the two is that levofloxacin may be more suitable for adults and is relatively more potent, while Tobex is softer and can be used for children or pregnant women. The effects are generally quite good and can be treated for anti-inflammatory or infection prevention.
