What about multiple mucosal neuromas?

Multiple mucosal neuromas are part of multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type IIb, which is autosomal dominant, and their treatment, mainly embolization and surgical resection. Multiple mucosal neuromas, depending on the site of growth and the size of the neuroma, can have different treatment methods.
1. If the neuroma grows in a superficial part of the skin, does not compress important organs and important nerve tissues, and is relatively small in size, the blood vessels supplying the neuroma can be directly embolized and ligated, and the neuroma will shrink and become smaller due to the lack of nutrients.
2. If the growth site is mostly in the mucous membrane and the neuroma compresses the important nerve tissues, the patient should undergo surgical resection in time to save his/her life and prolong his/her survival time.
The disease may also appear other lesions such as medullary carcinoma of the thyroid gland, it is recommended to go to regular hospitals, under the guidance of doctors for comprehensive treatment.
