Marshall-White syndrome, also known as Bier anemia spots, is caused by autonomic dysfunction and vasodilatory dysfunction, and pale white spots often appear at the ends of the limbs. When the limbs are in the sagging area for a long time, some of the vasoconstriction regulation dysfunction leads to microcirculation disorders at the ends of the limbs, and the white patches become more obvious. When the arm is raised, the color of the white patches becomes lighter and the same as normal skin color as blood from both normal and abnormal blood vessels flows to the heart, and the white patches reappear when the limb is sagging. Marshall-White syndrome may be a congenital developmental abnormality disorder that usually does not affect the patient’s life and does not require special treatment. It is recommended that patients meet with their local physician and be treated under their doctor’s guidance.
