Hypothermia after fever usually recovers in 2 to 3 days, and the recovery time varies for each individual. Patients with fever often take antipyretic drugs to control their temperature, which may lead to hypothermia under the effect of antipyretic drugs if the primary disease has been controlled. Patients with hypothermia generally have a body temperature below 36°C. For patients with hypothermia if there is no obvious symptoms of cold body, cold hands and feet, and so on after the metabolism of the drug, usually in about 24 hours can return to normal. If the patient’s body temperature is too low, or even the appearance of cold hands and feet, basal metabolic rate decreased, such patients need to pay attention to insulation, may need about 2 ~ 3 days to recover. Most hypothermia patients can recover naturally, but serious patients need to seek medical attention.
