Underarm rashes may be caused by physiologic and pathologic factors (e.g., acute urticaria, eczema). It can usually be removed by general treatment, medication and other methods.
1. Physiological factors: due to the usual lack of attention to local hygiene, resulting in increased sweating in the armpits caused by underarm rash. This is a normal physiological phenomenon, does not require special treatment, just pay attention to local hygiene of the armpits, timely cleaning, keep clean and dry, so as to alleviate the armpit rash.
2. Pathologic factors:
(1) acute urticaria: due to the dilatation of small blood vessels in the mucous membrane of the axilla, as well as the limited reaction that occurs due to the increase of permeability, which results in the appearance of axillary red rash. It can be treated with loratadine tablets, which can relieve axillary rash by antagonizing the H1 receptor and providing anti-allergic, antihistamine and anti-inflammatory effects.
(2) Eczema: Eczema is a chronic inflammatory itchy skin disease that may appear as a polymorphic rash on the surface of the skin, and hence underarm rash. It can be treated with glucocorticoid drugs such as Dinaid ointment, which mainly has an anti-inflammatory effect, thus relieving the axillary rash.
If the patient has underarm rash, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to identify the cause of the disease and then follow the doctor’s instructions for targeted treatment. Drugs need to be used under the guidance of a doctor, do not self-medication.
