Does lung adenocarcinoma make CEA high?

Lung adenocarcinoma may make CEA high.
CEA is a broad-spectrum tumor marker in clinic, and its sensitivity is still relatively high for gastric cancer, lung adenocarcinoma and pancreatic cancer. Most of lung adenocarcinoma patients will have elevated CEA, but it is not said that all of them will have elevated CEA, and some of them in early stage or special groups will not have elevated CEA.
CEA can only be used as an auxiliary index for screening lung adenocarcinoma, but not as the basis for final diagnosis. In the case of a substantial increase in CEA, CT, MRI and puncture biopsy are still needed to improve the diagnosis according to the final results, and then a targeted program can be adopted for treatment.
