If the metastasis is in the peripheral regional lymph nodes, the staging should not be advanced, nor is it in the early stage, it should be in the middle stage. If lymph nodes other than the regional lymph nodes also metastasize, it should be advanced stage. In the case of regional lymph node metastasis, some patients can undergo surgical resection to remove both the primary tumor and the regional lymph nodes, and the patient may be cured. This often requires chemotherapy after surgery, and depending on the specific tumor some require local radiation therapy. In case of distant metastasis lymph node metastasis is usually incurable, mainly systemic treatment such as chemotherapy is the main treatment, but also local treatment such as local radiotherapy can be combined.
