Chest CT and lung CT are the same because both tests scan the entire chest cavity, the way they scan is multilayer, and the observations are basically the same. Therefore, there is no difference between chest CT and lung CT. 1. Chest CT: It can observe the tissue structure of both lungs, heart, mediastinum, thoracic cavity, ribs and chest wall. If lung inflammation, space occupation, pleural effusion, rib fracture and other diseases occur, the sensitivity of CT to these lesions is very high, and it can make timely observation and judgment. 2. Lung CT: it can observe lung tissue, pericardium and heart size, esophagus, thymus and other organs and tissues, but the CT scanning content of lung is also the whole chest cavity, so it can also see the chest wall, ribs and other structures and their lesions. So chest CT and lung CT are just different names for the examination, but the contents are the same and the essence is the same.
