Blood cell analysis and blood count are the same kind of test, but in different hospitals, they are called by different names. Blood count includes many indicators, each of which has a meaning, and some of which have to be analyzed together. It generally includes three major components: white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets. White blood cells include neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils. Pay attention to the white blood cell count, which is elevated in the case of bacterial infections, or severe trauma, but not in the case of viral infections. Therefore, in case of fever, blood tests should be performed so that you can determine whether it is a bacterial infection, or a viral infection. Red blood cells mainly look at red blood cell count, hemoglobin and red blood cell pressure volume, which are important indicators to determine whether there is anemia. Platelets are responsible for blood clotting, and the main focus is on platelet count.
